Founded in 2016 by Christian Hofmann, whose experience includes a 12-year career at Ralph Lauren and a lifelong passion for the outdoors, Heimat Textil is based out of and produced in Germany. Every piece they make is built to last, with a solid construction that only gets better with time, softening and breaking in from wear. The company name, Heimat is a German word without a direct translation in English — best explained as a comfortable and secure feeling that comes from being where you belong.

Heimat's primary focus as a brand is quality, working with the very best materials and using the most sustainable production techniques to create heirloom-quality staples with German sensibilities. Their garments are made to be lived in, taken outdoors and subjected to the elements, keeping up with your lifestyle — whatever it may be. The designs are classic and stripped of excess, versatile by way of their minimalism, comfortably fitting into a wide variety of different wardrobes.

The Regatta Belt takes inspiration from vintage sailing belts, often made from leftover ship materials (like sail scraps or rope), these were an easy way to properly secure your trousers while on deck. Heimat's version is cut from a heavyweight cotton fabric, with leather trims and two thick brass O-rings in place of a buckle. 

Available in two sizes, S/M = 43.3" & L/XL = 49.2". These are highly adjustable thanks to the O-ring closures, allowing you to adjust to any size without needing holes.

Shipping

We offer free USA shipping on orders over $300 and on select items as marked on the product page. All shipping is via UPS, USPS or DHL (international only). If you need us to use a different courier for shipping, please contact us before ordering.

Orders to Hawaii, Alaska, AE/APO addresses, and PO boxes will be shipped with USPS. All other US orders will ship UPS unless otherwise requested.

We want you to be comfortable shopping with us online without being able to touch the product.

  • Exchanges or returns for store credit will be accepted on full-price items within 14 days of delivery (as verified by courier)
  • Items sold on sale or discount are final sale, no returns or exchanges.
  • Items must be in original condition with all tags attached.
  • Items that have been washed, hemmed, altered, or excessively worn cannot be returned.
  • All return and exchange shipping costs are your responsibility
